POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Warehouse/Shop/Delivery Specialist is fully responsible for; proper warehouse inventory control processes in regards to receiving shipments and maintaining the inventory in proper locations; responsible for all cleanliness, safety and maintenance of all company grounds, buildings and other assets in a manner to display a professional business appearance at all times; responsible for the delivery of route supplies for the company’s pre-sell and delivery program for all branch locations; delivery of stock transfer inventory to all company branch locations; responsible for in-shop customer equipment repair services; responsible for assisting on project installations in house and on farm as necessary; and perform duties temporary at times in relief or assist in relief of traditional routes specialist in the event of an unexpected or expected absence.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Facilities including buildings inside and out, as well as all grounds and signs must be kept at the most professional appearance and organized at all times as possible.
2. Maintain and/or assist in maintaining a “Shop List” which to include, but not limited to for such items as project installation preparations, asset maintenance, inventory maintenance, and/or building and grounds maintenance. This “Shop List” is to be posted in the dispatch area to use as guidance tool for self-direction of tasks that need to be completed when not under the direction of other staff members or management.
3. Display a high degree of professionalism, craftsmanship, work ethic, excellent attendance, teamwork attitude, and high level of efficiency of making good use of your time while at work.
4. Responsible for keeping all pertinent company documentation, pricing and customer information confidential, never distributing without prior approval.

 SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

 Warehouse and Inventory Control:

1. Required to obtain and maintain forklift training certificate.
2. Responsible for maintaining warehouse safety and monitoring of proper safety policies and procedures as well as DOT and HAZMAT compliance procedures are being followed by route, delivery and other personnel.
3. Complete daily warehouse and vehicle security checklist before leaving the property such as, but not limited to windows and doors being closed and locked.
4. Follow proper inventory receiving procedures and complete proper documentation processes as soon as possible.
5. Inventory documentation tasks are to be completed by you personally, not office personnel immediately as the process is completed and handed into the office for further processing for such areas, but not limited to as stock transfers, ordering, stock out, remove from stock, return to stock, shipping and receiving.
6. Responsible for adequate knowledge of the company’s inventory software and processes to be self-sufficient from the office personnel involvement required to complete all of your inventory duties.
7. All shipments received on a daily basis must be checked in and put away in the warehouse, store and parts rooms following proper procedures as soon as possible. Processing pending parts orders are a priority for timely service and installation scheduling.
8. Responsible for the proper documentation, packaging, loading, unloading, picking up, and/or delivery for any type of vendor or customer returns and/or pending orders.
9. Keep all inventories in warehouse, shop, parts rooms, and store always put away in the correct locations and in a neat appearance while using proper inventory rotation procedures.
10. On a daily routine conduct store inventory level checks and maintain proper stock levels at all times.
11. Responsible for the duties and inventory needed on hand required for the sanitation supplies repackaging process and inflation changing service. On a daily basis, duties include, but not limited to are cleaning empty barrels, refilling barrels, labeling barrels, documentation, putting full barrels as well as empty barrels away in their correct location, washing of shells, and stuffing of new inflations into clean shells. (Proper safety glasses and clothing to be worn at all times).
12. Assemble any new equipment or supplies required and put away in proper location.
13. Under the guidance of the office staff personnel responsible for warranty and returns, maintain inventory to be returned is cleaned, is in returnable condition and properly labeled. Package and properly label all warranty and return inventory shipments.
14. Assist Office staff taking care of customers that come into the store that need parts, supplies loaded, and/or equipment repaired.
15. All inventories in such areas of rack and shelving storage, but not limited to for piping, fabrication material, motors, compressors must be put away in correct locations, organized, properly labeled and in neat appearance at all times.
16. Complete general weekly routine tasks such as, but not limited to, of keeping all areas of the warehouse and shop clean and organized at all times, loading of empty pallets and empty totes, unloading of salt or towels, and unloading all other vendor shipments.
17. Complete routine inventory counts, packaging, shipping, receiving, picking up of, and assist in preparing purchase orders for such inventory commodity areas, but not limited to of consumables, shop supplies, fabrication materials, plumbing, electrical, fabrication, and tubing inventory, resurfaced milk pump back plates, rebuilding of circuit boards, rebuilding of vacuum pumps, and any other type inventory to be sent in for some type of refurbishing, as well as the proper Freon inventory documentation and tagging.
18. Complete routine inventory duties and documentation for service and sales in such areas, but not limited to, of putting together and maintaining stock levels of “in-house” parts kits, rebuilt equipment, and the staging of monthly scheduled service parts required for each customer.
19. When an obvious need is observed or requested by other staff personnel, assist in the loading or unloading of route trucks, delivery trucks, service trucks, installation trailers, as well as assisting in the staging of equipment for project installations.
20. Assist install staff with restocking installation trailers to proper stock levels after each installation use.
21. Responsible for processing and the documentation of all project installation inventory returns and the returned inventory is properly put away.
22. Process used equipment brought back on trade and being put into inventory by disassembly, cleaning, rebuilding if needed and filling out proper inventory control paper work and putting the inventory away correctly.
23. Assist at all time with proper overall Inventory Control Management.
24. Assist with physical inventory when performed at all branch locations.

B. Shop and Maintenance: 

1. Provide project installation support mainly in-house but on the job site in times of need.
2. Keep all commonly stocked in-house fabricated inventory at adequate stocking levels, such as, but not limited to, second use tank level control alarms, stainless brackets for hanging various equipment, boot wash grates, etc.
3. On a daily routine, for all buildings, offices, rooms, and bathrooms, all garbage containers must be emptied into the dumpster, all boxes and burnables must be burned or placed in the burnables cart.
4. On a daily routine, all grounds and buildings including shop areas, warehouse areas, inventory storage areas and store area should be free of loose debris, kept clean, organized and kept in the most professional appearance possible.

Shop and Maintenance: cont.

1. On a daily routine all random new, used, warranty inventory and tools must be put away in their proper storage locations. Responsible to seek out the perpetrator and reasons for this unacceptable behavior and make the proper corrections to minimize this from becoming a repeated occurrence.
2. On a weekly routine, all burnable materials in the cart, buildings, or grounds should be burned as often as weather permits.
3. On a weekly routine, floors in all buildings, vehicle bays, inventory areas, offices, rooms and bathrooms should be swept.
4. Routinely keep all outside grounds kept clean and organized by such duties, but not limited to, as putting all empty pallets and totes stacked in an organized fashion, all trailers are properly parked, all company vehicles not used on a daily basis are kept parked away from day to day parking areas, scrap metal and garbage is kept cleaned up, and used or new inventory stored outside is properly organized.
5. Maintain inventory of full gas tanks at all times for the forklift.
6. Responsible for all company asset repairs and maintenance for such items, but not limited to, as buildings, vehicles, tools, grounds and any other such assets.
7. Routinely inspect all buildings inside and out, offices, rooms, and bathrooms for weak or non-functioning light bulbs or exhaust fans and make the necessary replacements and repairs.
8. Routinely maintain salt levels in all water softeners to approximately half full.
9. Perform capable repairs, routine maintenance (example fluid and filters), asset movement to location of repair, and assist with the timely maintenance schedule for all such assets as, but not limited to vehicles, forklifts, powered carts, lawn and grounds equipment, tools, and any other related company assets.
10. Responsible for making sure the routine duties of lawn and grounds care are completed for such areas, but not limited to, the lawn is mowed and trimmed weekly with some areas needing twice per week, weeds are eliminated around road sign, buildings and parking lot by means of pulling or spraying, damaging rocks are removed from the lawn, gas barrel is kept at an adequate level at all times, mower is blown off each use, oil levels are checked each use, and deck is removed and pressure washed at times.
11. Responsible for the annual and day-to-day maintenance and the cleaning of the lawn mower, trimmer, and sprayer after each use. Blades should be replaced when needed and a spare set of sharp blades ready at all times.
12. Responsible for making sure snow removal and/or salting is handled by you or arranged and communicated to management of others handling the duties in a very timely manner that will not compromise employee and customer safety or in any way will not disrupt day to day operations.
13. Responsible for annual and day-to-day maintenance of all snow removal equipment. 

 Delivery and Route Support:

1. Required to maintain a commercial driver’s license with HAZMAT and airbrake endorsements while employed.
2. Maintain, follow, perform, and complete all DOT, HAZMAT and other Safety compliances at all times such as but not limited too; daily vehicle inspections and manifests.
3. Properly fill out and hand in all accurate documentation required for all delivery and route processes.
4. Pre-Sell Program – perform the delivery of products for Pre-Sell program efficiently and accurately.
5. Pre-Sell Program – perform all duties required in regards to services provided, such as washing shells and stuffing new inflations, but not limited to for the larger accounts and performing accurate and proper paperwork.
6. Stock Transfer Inventory – responsible for delivery of inventory for each branch location, proper shipping and receiving processes, proper completion of documentation procedures, and delivered inventory is properly put away at the branch location.
7. Project and Service – Delivery of equipment and materials to project site and getting emergency service parts to technicians on site during normal business hours.
8. Perform all miscellaneous deliveries and pick-ups deemed necessary for the success of all day to day operations.
9. Traditional Route Program – perform all duties and responsibilities on a temporary basis at times in relief or assist in relief of traditional routes specialist in the event of an unexpected or expected absence. Such duties for each route customer visit are, but not limited to would be; the delivery of product, change inflations, clean regulator filters, flush and grease lobe vacuum pumps, and check oil and filter on vane vacuum pumps.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: Perform as a Pre-Sell Dairy Hygiene Supplies Sales Specialist, which includes the selling of dairy hygiene products and supplies to dairy farmers. This position is required to perform at a high level of customer service and to attract new route customers.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Keep fully informed on all Central Ag Supply Inc. policy and procedures and enforce them.
• Sell dairy hygiene and supplies to dairymen.
• Provide a high level of customer service.
• Develop new route customers.
• Maintain and update accurate route records.
• Assist coordinator with inventory and orders when needed.
• Assist coordinator on ideas for sales promotions and flyers.
• Collect competitive prices and samples on a daily basis and forward to coordinator.
• Responsible for cleaning problems of assigned customers and assist the coordinator with cleaning problems when necessary.
• Submit daily invoices to Administrative Staff.
• Schedule and plan the route for travel and time efficiency.
• Operate the route at a profitable level.
• Responsible for constantly maintaining and improving company image and properly representing and maintaining company polices.

• Responsible for assisting and communicating directly with the sales department, installation department, builder, general manager, and the customer in all details of the estimates, design, production of project drawings as well as the installation of the project.
• Responsible for the development of a project time logging document and maintaining recordings for all project design, drafting, and management time for each project.
• Responsible for creating and maintaining a company installation schedule calendar as well as individual project installation schedules for all projects that would include all contractors involved in the project.
• Responsible for creating a reference document or documents and maintaining existing reference manuals that include all details and guidelines that are used for standard company project design and layouts.
• Responsible for producing and maintaining a sales portfolio of historical layout drawings as well as company developed preferred layouts to be used by the sales department and the design draftsman when communicating with customers and building contractors.
• Responsible for other sales support projects or the assistance in the improvement of other sales support projects including but not limited to, company sales literature, company website, social media, standard bid documents, and any other company sales documentation.
• Responsible for assisting the sales department and the Accounting Manager with completing and organizing all purchase documents for all projects bid or sold, and assisting with payment schedule tracking.
